Refund policy
We want you to be completely in love with your own designed pieces. If you change your mind for any reason, feel free to contact us with your issues. Before considering this, please ensure that you have read and understood our returns policy.
Damages and issues
All borders and fabrics are handmade and/or used before they were redesigned. That means there is a chance that you may find some small tracks like loose threads or missing beads. This authenticity and uniqueness is the reason that we fell in love with the borders and we hope you are able to embrace all the perfect imperfections too.
The photos that are used are the best possible representation of the actual colours, shapes and materials. Before making a purchase, please have a look at the dimensions, colour- and product descriptions. As a small business I'm very conscious about the footprint that fashion & online shopping leaves to the environment and this way I hope to minimze returns and impulse purchases as little as possible.
Please contact us immediately by emailing hi@mvdrl.com if you receive the wrong item or something else is going on, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items - Custom Products
We really want you to absolutely adore your item as much as we do, but unfortunately we cannot accept returns on the following items:
- Velvet Multiwear Bands
- Ring Belts
- Bag Straps
- Gift Cards
- Sale Items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as special orders or personalized items). Every item is handmade per order, especially for you - after you designed your own piece. We truly hope you understand this and be aware of it, before you consider returning or exchanging an item.

All other items
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return or exchange, you can contact us at hi@mvdrl.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package.
We truly hope for your understanding for the following return-rules as a small business:
- Shipping costs are non-refundable and return shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer.
- All return packages must be insured and provided with a track & trace code.
- We cannot provide compensation for items lost in transit.
Refunds
We will notify you once we've received and inspected your return. The purchased amount will be refunded to your bank within 14 days after cancellation. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too
