Collection: Goa | Shades of Green

This collection is inspired by the unique magic of Goa. The smallest Indian province surrounded by green tropics and salty air. 

All items are made from a vintage embroidered trim from India, also called a sari border. These borders were once hand embroidered along the edges of a sari, which is a long yard of cloth in 5 to 9 meters of length - traditionally wrapped around the body by women from South Asia.  Therefore, all borders are one of a kind and so is every mvdrl piece. Only 2 to 6 of each design can be made.
