You design your own fanny pack with used materials that have limited availability which means you will have a very unique item. The productphotos are photoshopped to help you visualize your fabric - embroidery combination, there is no stock. All items are made per order and there are only 5 spots available for each week, it will take me 2 hours to create your item.

Lining:

Leftover fabric from previous mvdrl collections: handloomed and hand dyed Khadi Cotton from India – using the ancient batik technic.

Embroidery:

Vintage hand embroidered sari borders, consciously sourced in India in the little shop of my fav sari border man Vikas when I was traveling India myself. When a sari is outworn, they cut off the embroidered parts and resell the border. These embroidered ribbons were once hand stitched along the edges (borders) of a sari. Hand stitching results in a unique piece of work every time it is created. Even if the exact pattern and thread colors are replicated, there will be subtle differences in the way the stitches are made. This means that every piece of embroidery I use for mvdrl items are one of a kind and there is only a max. of 8 meters to be found in this world. You can recognize hand embroidery by checking the back of the border. If the knots from the stitches are not perfectly uniform, you know it is hand embroidered and not machine made. A true form of art if you ask me!

After ordering you'll receive your fanny pack within 7 days:

It will take 2-5 days after ordering for me to make and ship your item. Please allow PostNL at least 2 days to deliver it to you.
